Topic, "Rehabilitating Raptors"

At 7PM on Wednesday 3 February, at Taste, in College Park, we'll have a fascinating discussion for you.

When birds of prey are injured, people call Carol McCorkle. At the Avian Research Center in Apopka, she nurses injured or untrained raptors and other large birds back to health and conditions them to live in the wild. She also educates the public about large birds' environment and ecology, and demonstrates falconry using birds in her care.
